Back to School Campaign
Cafepress
Marketing, Web ad banners, Email, Print
I came up with the concept and design for the Back to School campaign. It was aimed at teens, but also encompassed the college and elementary school markets. Bright colors and a thumbtack board show off the imagery in a fun and playful way. After arriving at the initial theme of Back to 'S'cool, I created mood boards which served as the springboard to the styleguide for the final design. I then managed a team of junior designers to execute the campaign across all deliverables for the Back to School season.
The campaign spanned across the Cafepress.com website, customer emails, ad banners and direct (snail) mail. Banners were placed on the Cafepress homepage and throughout the site to drive sales. I selected the photos and product offerings portrayed according to the target market.

A targeted promotional email I designed to tie in with the campaign style.
This direct mail printed postcard was one of many that I designed which went to the mailboxes of thousands of customers. Each postcard told the story of a different (fictional) person who fit the profile of a Cafepress Back to School consumer.
